This Chunky Aplaca Neckwarmer is an easy knitting pattern that is sure to be your new favorite. This pattern is simple and perfect for fledgling knitters out there looking to knit something more interesting than a scarf. It's still a basic rectangle, but this knit neckwarmer pattern uses a diagonal slip stitch to create gorgeous detail. The cream alpaca color is stunning, but this free knitting pattern would be lovely in other hues as well. Pair this neckwarmer with a winter coat and you'll be cozy all through the blustery winter months.

This link is basically dead. This links you to the page that links you to yarnspirations, who recently overhauled their site rendering all of their linked to pages basically useless. The actual pattern picture is not on the website unless you can get to the pattern stitch on yarnspirations, which you can't.

I really like this design for a neck warmer. I will try it with chunky yarn, then make another in worsted weight yarn for warmer weather.
