So cute. I have made crochet ones but never knit. I think I will mix them in with my other ones and have a wide variety. I live close to butterfly world in south Florida and every once in awhile I find what I call an escapee on my patio. Maybe these will attract more!

These butterflies are too cute! I can see using them as an embellishment for any number of projects blankets, hats, scarves. You could use them alone, attaching to a hair tie or clip for a cute hair accessory for a little girl. This is an easy pattern, and there endless possibilities for what you can do with them when you're done.

These are beautiful, and I have found them just in time for Spring and the good weather coming in. I knit hats for premature babies so these will be a beautiful addition to them. I'd say they could be used as gift tags as well, and a brilliant way to use up the left over bits of wool, thank you for this idea, I love it.

Now this looks like a lot of fun. They would look cute glued onto popsicle sticks for plant pokes or hung in a window for a spring decoration, in additon to using them to decorate packages or put in a child's hair. I keep thinking of more ways to use them! I have a lot of odds and ends of yarn to use up (doesn't every knitter?), so this is perfect.

I think that these whimsical butterflies are just to cute. I use them on various crafts but mostly I use them on gift toppers. They are so quick and easy to knit and it is worth it when one receives all the compliments on how beautiful your gift looks. All your left over wool can be put to use by knitting these cute butterflies. They look beautiful in colors ranging from pastel to bright red. One can also use two yarn colors to give another colorful dimension to your craft project. This pattern for for sure a keeper!!!!

These butterflies are a fun pattern for people learning to knit. I can see them as decorations for scarves, hats or slippers, or you can make bracelets or attach them to headbands. They'd be pretty if made out of variegated yarn, or two different yarns, one for each wing set. I think I'll use my leftover yarn for these.
