This Birds and Flowers Colorwork Hat is a fun and easy knitting pattern. Using no fewer than seven different skeins, this fair isle knitting pattern takes a lot of switching, but the results are adorable and fun. This knit hat pattern was originally designed for donation to charity, but any friend or grandchild would love this nature-themed accessory. This free knitting pattern would be easy to customize by changing the color of the flowers and the birds, so it can be made to suit anyone's taste. This hat knitting pattern is just so cute that it'll keep you smiling.

NotesThis pattern calls for 5 colors of sport weight yarn and 2 colors of eyelash yarn.

This is an adorable hat and I would have given it a 5 but it does not give a size. I am sure you can enlarge the hat if you wanted to. You just have to note the gauge. This is a fun hat and would be great as a charity knit, especially for a retirement home. It does not look wintery but would be a bright sight on a wintery day so why not? I have knitted patterns like this before and it is not difficult, you have to watch the chart. I like the addition of the eyelash yarn. Thank you.
