This Tassel Fringe Blanket Cardigan looks and feels like you're wearing a cozy knit blanket. With a tassel fringe down the front, this blanket cardigan knitting pattern is unique and stylish. This knit cardigan pattern also uses steeks with a step-by-step guide for how to use them without unraveling your work, so it's a great tutorial for those who have never tried them before. Featured in dark grey, this free knitting pattern would also work well in cream, blue, or your favorite autumn color. Just style this blanket cardigan with jeans for a casual and cozy autumn look.

This is the first time I have ever seen this cardigan. I like it so much that I shall knit one for myself.

I love the idea of wearable blankets, and this cardigan fits into that category. Can't wait to give it a try, one day!

I wish people wouldn't post comments on these items unless they are working on them or have completed. I have learned with these sites to read all the comments before starting the projects so I don't waste my time on a poorly written pattern. But you end up spending so much time reading comments that have no real value. The stars count for how the project turns out or not if you like the picture! Don't mean to be rude, just think others have to feel the way I do. Wasted several days on a pattern that didn't hang correctly. When I went back I realized that the pattern was a huge mess and all the stars was for people thinking it was cute (

I agree. Wasted a lot of time on projects just to rip them apart!

Yes! I understand why people want to leave glowing comments, to be supportive of others efforts etc, which is good. But I also wish the 4 and 5 star ratings were based on something more substantial than this garment looks great in the photos!

This cardigan looks so cozy and cute! I would love to have one like this for crisp fall days. This might have to be one of my next knitting projects.
