Lotus Baby Blanket

By: Shana from Needyl.com

Finally, a cute baby blanket that doesn't take ages to knit! This Lotus Baby Blanket from Shana would make an excellent baby shower present. With a stockinette stitch triangles framed in a simple lace pattern, this gorgeous blanket will make you smile for years to come. We love the beautiful burnt sienna color of the Lotus Baby Blanket, but we also think it would look absolutely lovely in a soft white or light pastel color.

I just finished the blanket with no problem! Thanks! It's beautiful!!

Lotus Blanket is beautiful.....I have a custmoer that has a circular blanket someone made for her first grandchild and would like to make another one herself....it reminds me or the circular dish cloth pattern does anyone know of a pattern like that for a baby blanket or where I might look for one? Thanks

Hi, I just saw the Lotus baby blanket and it is great. I have a baby shower coming up and thought this would be a perfect gift. I got all the things needed to start and read the instructions. I was completely lost. I am considered and experienced knitter and have sold many of the articles I have made. I went on line to see how the disappearing cast on method and the magic loop method was done. Ater seeing this I put everything away as I cannot begin to understand them plus the instructions are also hard to understand---for me anyway. Oh well maybe I am out of my league. Thank you. Ruth

I tried and tried. I finally gave up and just pulled out my double ended needles and all is fine...

This is a gorgeous pattern. Thank you for sharing! No one would be the wiser that this is a good "stashbuster." Keep up the good work.
