What a lovely design for a blanket! Knitting it in a solid color would bring out the detail and it does look good in a soft brown. It does look like a pie crust! The instructions look easy to follow and it should knit up quickly. Baby blankets are always popular and if you don't know anyone, it is a good charity knitting project.

This blanket looks like an afghan and would look great in our family room, where my daughter spends most of her time! The pattern also seems easy to follow - I don't think I would need to look at the instructions very frequently after I complete the pattern rows a couple of times!

I am still in the process of making this blanket. I love it and it is so easy to follow. This is definitely a keeper. Everybody loves the way it is turning out.
