This is a very dramatic and eye-catching afghan pattern! I think it will work with most colors as long as they are bright, to make a good contrast with the black. So you could make it to match a particular room's decor, and it would make a fabulous gift for someone.

what is the finished size of the afghan using the number of stitches stated in pattern.

Hi, busybeeanne 7822219. The full pattern appears on the pattern designer's blog, and therefore there may be several comments and such below the pattern. I would recommend copying and pasting the pattern into a Word document and printing that way, or highlighting the pattern and clicking "selection" instead of "all" when printing. I hope this helps! --Editors of AllFreeKnitting

Can I down load stained glass pattern without all the pix and reviews ? Too much paper and ink wasted,

Please send me the ounces needed for the Stained Glass Ripple Aphgan according to your pattern. Thanks Suzanne Bradford

This is beautiful. I don't really like doing afghans because I find them repetitive, boring & oh so long to complete, but, this one looks like it won't become a UFO.
