Do you remember any of your high school dances? This bold and beautiful knit blanket pattern brings us back to the spring fling. Checkerboard style black and white squares make up the simple garter stitch design of the Dance Floor Blanket. The best part about this blanket is the easy size markers. Just add a few more squares depending on how large you want it! The Dance Floor Blanket is sure to bring back memories of sock hops, tulip trots, and highs school sweethearts.

The original pattern is for a baby blanket made up of four large squares. The designer suggests that a throw would be made up of nine squares and a regular blanket would be made up of 20 squares. You pick up stitches along the edge of each completed square to attach the next square, and the designer gives clear instructions and photos to show you how.
