Stash 'N Go Coin Purse
Knitting bags is especially fun when there is minimal seaming involved! This Stash 'N Go Coin Purse will knit up quickly, only has two seams and can be accessorized using funky buttons. Make your purse so you can carry around smaller valuables in addition to your spare change.
Knitting Needle Size6 or 4 mm
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Materials:
- U.S. size 6 needles
- Caron simply soft yarn
Instructions:
CO 25 sts. or multiples of 5
Knit 2 rows then:
R1: P1, K4 across the row
R2: P3, K2 across the row
R3: P3, K2 across the row
R4: P1, K4 across the row
Repeat rows 1 thru 4 until piece is 6 inches long then for flap
R1: Purl
R2: Knit
R3: Purl
R4: K11,YO, K to end of row(buttonhole row)
R5: Purl
R6: Knit
R7: Purl
R8: Knit
BO
Fold piece in half up to the beginning of the flap, sew sides together. Line up buttonhole with button, sew button in the inside
You are ready to go.

This is really a cute coin purse. I had trouble with the BO, as the flap curled and I tried a purl and a knit BO. Any suggestions?
