Is there a mistake in row 33? I've tried it 3 times and keep ending up without 41 stitches. I think the problem is the sk2p. I did this stitch according to the directions in The Knitting Answer Book by Margaret Radcliffe. Please advise.

There is no mistake, if you count the stitches individually, you'll see it adds up to 41. I think the problem is in the way you're doing the sk2p-they actually tell you in the pattern how to do it for this pattern.
