Gauge17 sts = 4" [10 cm]; 23 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Stockinette Stitch. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needle to obtain the gauge.

Instructions
Cowl
Cowl is worked in the round.

Using the long-tail cast on method, cast on 110 stitches. Place stitch marker for beginning of round. Join being careful not to twist stitches.

Rounds 1-6: Work in K1, P1 Ribbing.

Stockinette Stitch Section
Work in Stockinette Stitch (knit every Round) for 4" [10 cm]. -
Seed Stitch Section
Round 1: *K1, P1; repeat from * around.
Round 2: *P1, K1; repeat from * around. Repeat Rounds 1-2 of Seed Stitch Section for a total of 3" [7.5 cm].
Change to Stockinette Stitch and work for 4" [10 cm].
Change to Seed Stitch and work for 3" [7.5 cm].
Change to Stockinette Stitch and work for 4" [10 cm].
Rounds 1-6: Work in K1, P1 Ribbing. Bind off all stitches in Ribbing.
Finishing
With yarn needle, weave in all ends. Block lightly.
