why is every single pattern I fall in love with only for 0-3 months. Don't babies who are 12 months and older wear sweaters?

this is a delightful pattern to follow - clear instructions easy to follow and the resulting sweater looks as if one is a highly-skilled knitter. Now if the designer would create a pattern in an adult version....
