That's where this Precious Knit Baby Hat comes to the rescue! This heirloom-quality hat design is available in sizes that are just right for a large premature baby, a small newborn, and a newborn. I crochet and knit. If it's a big project i tend to grab my crochet hook because for me it goes a lot faster. But something like this brings out the knitting needles. It's good to do it once in a while to keep in practice. These little cities will lend themselves to embellishment too!

I had just been thinking about knitting a few small things for charity, so this is good timing and the pattern is almost too simple. (But I will deal with it!) I do not have that particular yarn though, so will have to look in my stash for something appropriate.

These are so cute. The perfect quick and easy pattern to knit for charity or an early-bird baby!
