Emli Bonnet

By: Alison Hansel for The Blue Blog

The "emli" in Emli Bonnet means "embossed leaves." Dressing your baby up in this nature inspired-hat will always bring a smile to your face. The lace leaves on this baby hat pattern make it an engaging project for knitters waiting for the arrival of the new baby. Your baby will be able to wear this light hat in the spring or summer. Pairing this hat with an outfit is the cutest way to shade your babys eyes.

I agree that I can't seem to get the full pattern...am I missing something? would love to be able to do this...thanks so much!

I agree with the other knitters. Can't get the leaf pattern without buying the book. If any one can print out the directions it would be appreciated. The hat is very cute

Hi Jeff, If you click on the link above that says "Click here for knitting pattern", you should not have to log in or purchase any patterns. Thanks!

It seems to me that the emli bonnet is in AllFreeKnitting under false pretences; i.e., in order to obtain the PATTERN STITCH, you must either subscribe to "interweave Knits" for $25 per 4 issues, or purchase the book "Favorite Socks", Ann Budd, Ed., @ $22.95 list! Not free, in my estimation! I thought that maybe this time, when it was again listed in your patterns, it would have included the 'pattern stitch', but not yet.... Please include the stitch, or disinclude the pattern. Don't keep teasing us!! Thank you. Read more at http://www.allfreeknitting.com/Baby-Knit-Hats/Emli-Bonnet/ct/1#OQEbDJDIGrg5TCGd.99

This would be such a feminine-looking hat for a little girl!
