It's easier than you think to learn the Quaker Ridge. This stitch is just the thing for knitting patterns that you want to have a lot of texture, but still look clean and contemporary. It's the kind of stitch that would look cool and unexpected on a sweater sleeve, or give a room a unique flair when used as a rug. Even those just beginning knitting can manage this cool, out-of-the-box ridge stitch, as its made up of only knits and purls, so you absolutely have to try it out!
