The Pink Dream Dress
Ladies, it's time you meet your dream frock! This delicate knit dress pattern is crafted carefully with lace detailing around the hem, waist and shoulders. The Pink Dream Dress is only available in one size (18 months old), but can easily be adapted to suit all body types! This pink dream dress is the perfect little pink dress to give to the children in your life. It is cute, and the detailing on the dress is pristine and intricate. Although the dress has a complicated look that gives the impression that the pattern is interminable, it’s an intermediate pattern, which is the perfect medium between too difficult and too easy. Furthermore, despite the extra bit of effort that this pattern requires, it will be kept as a keepsake way past the time the dress no longer fits.

This dress is so beautiful I could see it as a flower girl dress for a wedding. It is a definitely an intermediate pattern. But I think if you take your time and read entire pattern before starting an advanced beginner could work this pattern. This pattern no matter what is a keepsake piece. It could be passed down for generations

I was able to change the needle size and the yarn and use this pattern to make an adult size for my granddaughter to wear in a play she was in at her highschool. It takes some patience, but it comes out looking exactly like the picture!

Hi. A beautiful dress. I am an average knitter, and would like to make this dress in a ladies size. Is that possible???? I realize adjustments can be made to the original pattern, but remember I am just average. Thankyou, Lillian from Canada.

You can. It takes math skills, but you should be able to do it. Make sure to get your gauge right and then sit down and rewrite the pattern to your gauge and size. The pattern is divisible by 10, so however many stitches you cast on should be divisble by 10 also. Other than that, match your gauge to the size you want it to be. I am probably not explaining it well, but it's not as hard as it sounds.

Hi: Could I possibly knit this dress in a ladies size? I think I could make this lovely dress for myself if I had a ladies size pattern. Thankyou, Lillian from Canada

This is gorgeous! Had I seen such a thing when my daughter was little, she'd have had it! I can see a 3 or a 4 yr old in such a dress, easily!

This may be your first attempt, but it is wonderful. You are going to have to work hard to beat it. I love it. Thank you for posting it and making it available.
