Honestly, I cannot imagine making this for my husband to wear, even though he gets cold really quickly in the winter! He is not really a hat wearing kind of guy. I would be more likely to make this for my kids, even if they lost it on day 1! The pattern is easy to follow, which is really nice!

Alpaca is a beautiful yarn, soft and warm. I'm partial to it ever since I went to Peru and saw the animals that it comes from. Glad we have some up in North America now too so the yarn is easier and less expensive to buy.
