"This knit shawl can double as a big scarf and is completely beginner friendly. It works up fairly quickly on large US Size 35 knitting needles. This one is made with wool so it is extra warm and cozy, but you can use any worsted weight yarn that you like! The shawl is made only with knit stitches, or garter stitch, and is therefore the perfect beginner project. It also makes a wonderful prayer shawl or charitable gift."

I'm not a beginner, but I like this! Sometimes a simple stitch and a great yarn works out to something awesome. It looks so snuggly and warm and so easy to do! And it would be easy enough to adjust the size. Although the big needles are kind of hard on arthritic hands, I can do this a little at a time.

I don't believe I've ever knitted with size 35 needles, so I'm going to save this pattern for when I want to try something new. I have on many occasions knitted with two strands together and it's one of my favorite techniques to get a completely unique colorway for my projects. Fisherman's Wool is a really nice yarn to work with, too.
