Simply Serene Scarf

The Simply Serene Scarf is a beautiful knit lace scarf, using the Irish Mesh stitch on large needles with super bulky yarn, making it accessible for all different skill levels. The scarf is knit back and forth on straight or circular needles and is finished with a fringe for a fun detail.

Though this lovely accessory looks beautiful as pictured, the pattern offers you some flexibility so that the width and length can be easily modified to fit your desired size. With a scarf as versatile as this one, you can dress up or dress down any outfit you choose.

I do love the look of it, however the yarn is $19.38 a skein plus, shipping, taxes and duty and you need 8 of them, it's going cost over $200 to make this scarf, this makes the project prohibitive due to cost for the average knitter. I've been searching the internet for days for a suitable substitute but so far no luck, it would seem that company is the only one to make a super bulky weight cotton yarn.
