Love the pattern, I plan on starting it tonight. However, I am appalled by the advertisements on this page. The Dr. Allen Spreen conspiracy theory does not belong anywhere on a knitting site. This is simply wrong.

This is a simple pattern, but the designer made a mistake when referring to knitting with circular needles. She stated you could just join the pattern and knit in the round, which is true, but she did not make an alternate pattern for knitting in the round. If joined, you would need to change the purl rows to knit, which was not noted.

Actually she does, there is a paragraph just before the pattern starts with the notes for changes for knitting in the round.

What a sweet little leg warmer pattern! My eldest daughter teaches dance and I know she'll love them in a dark green color. My youngest daughter doesn't teach dance but is so cold natured I may just knit her up a pair too! I'll have to dig out my dummies guide since it's been awhile since I've picked up the needles!
