I have to admit, they are adorable. The instructions are a little confusing, she states that they are knit in UK aran weight yarn but then goes on to say that they could be made using sport/worsted weight yarn, implying that these 2 yarns are somehow the same. I'm going to try them with my leftover worsted weight cotton and see how it goes.

I really like these for a hostess or bridal shower gift. You can never have two many coasters, and a great opportunity to practice your seed stitch. Instead of the embroidery, you can sew on a button or attach a pin.
