The Midnight Rendezvous Hat is a fabulous free knitting pattern. This cozy knit hat is a great way to keep your head warm when the cold weather hits your neck of the woods. This knit hat has a bit of a slouch in the back, so you can stay on trend while staying warm. Plus, the special details of the yarn really bring this unique design to life and give this hat a little something extra. Sure, you can buy any old hat from the department store, but there's nothing quite like the feeling of working up something beautiful with your own two hands. This free hat knitting pattern will quickly become a favorite.

Love the border. The cable instead of ribbing is really cute. NOT crazy about the crown.

This pattern leads to a really creative hat - the cable instead of ribbing is highly attractive - gives a certain je ne sais quoi to the hat

I really like how the bottom of the hat has a cabled pattern instead of the usual ribbing. Using the thick wool makes the hat look warm for those chilly days. I will have save this patten to try after the holidays, as I have too many ufo's to finish right now.

I love making hats because they are so quick to work up, and I really like this pattern. I love the cable around the bottom and the way the top is finished looks very nice, much more top end than the ones that gather up all the stitches in a circle. I think this will become my go-to pattern!
