I'm definitely a beginner knitter, and this looks like it'll be my next project. Love it!

This is just so pretty for the teen in your life. The name perfectly describes it, too, as the yarn, a cashmere/silk, is shimmery. I would absolutely follow the suggestion on Ravelry to use a luxury yarn with this one - it's that special!
