The creation of a stockinette stitch border surround the simple garter or seed stitch body of this blanket take it out of the ordinary. The pattern designers provide excellent directions for creating the border including the increases in the corners. Finally, the extra fat yarn used to knit the blanket provides a deluxe layer of comfort for a little one. Five Stars!
