By: Allison Griffith from On the Needles

If you already know how to knit a flower, you've only encountered half of the fun. With the Flower Power Knit Applique you can outshine the rest (literally). This knit flower pattern is quite simple to follow along with. It works great for beginners who want to test their needles with appliques or the more advanced knitters who just need a more relaxing knitting project. I know what you're thinking. Ok who doesn't want a cute flower brooch with a buzzy bee just about to collect pollen from the centre. The light in the middle just makes it perfect. This would also make a great addition to a slouch hat, or decoration for a knitted bag. I'm always looking for ways to use-up leftover wool and I'm definitely going to try this one.
