"This pattern does not require " a lot of Yarn", it's only 690 yards, it's a lot of skeins because that yarn is only 46 yards per skein, I'm certain you could find a much more cost effective substitute, I made one with Sweet snuggles yarn that I got in an 12 pack at Michael's, it's more than double the yardage on each skein and I was able to use a coupon to purchase the 12 pack, further reducing the cost."

I used a provisional cast and seamed the live stitches from both edges together with the Kitchener stitch, so there is no visible seam. The headband features the Andalusian stitch, which is really fast and easy to work. The headband is designed to fit women's medium, but the length and width of the headband are easily adjustable. This beautiful headband makes a great handmade gift.""
