- Handicrafter Holidays (80 g/2.8 oz;126 m/138 yds): Main Color (MC) Mistletoe Ombre (64706) - 2 balls
- Stuffing
- 1 yd [0.9 m] of ribbon
- Size 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
GAUGE: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st
MEASUREMENT: Approx 12 ins [30.5 cm] in diameter.
ABBREVIATIONS:
RS = right side
st(s) = stitch(es)
WS = wrong side
INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 40 sts.
**Work in stocking st (knit on RS and purl on WS) for 3 ins [7.5 cm].
Work in garter st (knit every row) for 3 ins [7.5 cm].**
Rep from ** to ** 5 times more. Cast off knitwise.
Finishing
Sew cast on and cast off edges tog to form a ring. Fold Ring in half lengthwise and sew sides tog, stuffing as you sew. Weave a length of yarn around Wreath at beg and end of each garter st section. Pull to gather and fasten securely. Tie ribbon into bow and sew to wreath as shown in picture.
