Baby Grandpa Sweater Vest

This Baby Grandpa Sweater Vest is an adorable "grandpa style" sweater vest available in multiple baby sizes. Knitted in pieces and then sewn together, this free knitting pattern makes an amusing and snuggly vest for baby. The back, front halves, and pockets of this vest are all knitted separately, so this won't be a quick baby sweater vest pattern, but it's definitely a cute one. And while this vest looks great in grey, it could be worked in burgundy, navy, or any other color of your choice to achieve that "grandpa" vibe.

This is such a cute little pattern, although it is knitted using light worsted / DK not fine as stated above. I adore the little pocket detail although you could make it without. This would look great in a dark grey as shown or navy with a white shirt underneath for a special occasion such as wedding or party. It did not take as much yarn as I thought and so I may make a second one to give to my cousins 4 month old as I can finish it over a couple of days. I would love to be able to make a matching adult version and will have to hunt around for a pattern.
