The Spring Day Baby Hat is the perfect pastel color for those in-between days when the temperature is starting to rise, but you still need to cover your little one's head. This free knitting pattern for babies also makes a great gift. The best part is this free knitting pattern includes instructions for premature babies as well. It's important to protect teeny tiny heads and these knit baby hats certainly do the trick. The pattern will work up quickly and you will have a versatile hat in no time. The sky blue color is so soft and soothing to the eyes, but you can easily work up this knitted baby hat in a light pink for any little lady in your life.

Thank you so very much for sharing your patterns. I absolutely love them

You are right rsdb, this is a simple and cute hat. This might be the perfect pattern for donations to your local hospital nursery for keeping those tiny heads warm and as a nice gift to families of new born babies. The small size means they will be quick to knit and its a great stash buster.

Simple and cute! Great how you can make these cute hats for premature babies as well. The instructions on the pattern seem easy to follow - I think I am going to be making a couple of these in different colors so that there's one for everyday of the week!
