Fortune Cookie Baby Booties

Fortune Cookie Baby Booties
Fortune Cookie Baby Booties

"I had remembered a baby shower about two hours before I had to be there! No time for a blanket, but plenty time for some simple booties! I do mean simple! Too simple to give by themselves! I always have these "take out" boxes on hand at Christmas time. There you go... Instant gift! I hand wrote a little fortune...."good things come in small packages"! Not very original, but it worked! The mommy loved them and that's all that matters!"

Fantastic knitting pattern love this super easy to make and construct probably a 30 minute job in total for a pair )

Please explain better how to fold/ sew these booties. I don't understand your instructions "half turn." Do you mean to twist the piece and sew the CO edge opposite (wrong side) to the right side of the bind off edge? I made the largest size and when folding over to sew they look nothing like your photo.

#BestIdeaEver These are the cutest, fastest and most clever "new baby" gift. New Mom's go crazy over these and the fortune inside each "cookie" is a hit. 5 stars! w

So quick and cute! One of my fav bootie patterns.

If you are looking for a special gift to add to a store-bought baby shower gift, these cute fortune cookie booties might just be the answer. I know it is for me! The garter stitch booties are made in two parts, the top and the sole are knit separately and then sewn together.

Can you please help me figure out how to fold/sew these together? Instructions don't make any sense.

There is a youtube video tutorial on these this is the link, the video helps to explain it! https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BK4OxBZEyMindex= == 1list=PL9HN-ms5rZ-fm3SvNTFneS2uY0L1ru48F

Thank you- but the YouTube link doesn't work. Can you please resend? Thank you!!! T

May I please have your 2 part pattern for Fortune Cookie Booties? I cannot figure out how to fold/ sew the 1 piece pattern and no one has responded to my cry for help. Thank you!
