Diagonal Purls Square
"The Diagonal Purls Square features a traveling stitch pattern that creates textured diagonal lines on a stockinette background. This pattern is one of 30 free knitting patterns for 6" (15 cm) squares in the Anthology Blanket Knit A Long with Underground Crafter. Make your own stunning baby blanket or throw while experimenting with knitting stitches! This project is great in one color or as a scrappy blanket. Knitting Needle Size7 or 4.5 mm
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Materials List
- Cascade 220 Superwash (100% superwash wool), or approximately 41 yds (37.5 m) in any medium weight yarn.
- US Size 7/4.5 mm knitting needles, or any size needed to obtain gauge.
- Yarn needle.

I love finding new stitches to practice in this section because once I'm done with the swatches I stitch some together in complementary colors and make a blanket.

I am faced with a conundrum I very much like the colour of the yarn used in the Ridge Stitch Square, as well I like the colour of the darker colour in Diagonal Purls. For a baby though I think I would prefer the white-ish colour for the softer shades...any ideas???
