i was thinking of knitting this but i cant see any info on yarn needed except for spiced ginger.

The yarn comes in a kit which is called "Spiced Ginger". It contains all the colors that are needed for this garment. https//www.yarnspirations.com/Caron-The-R == ight-Stripe-Knit-Sweater/CAK0129-031394M.html

It's not a kit, the yarn is the new Caron Big Donut OGo, this particular colour combination is called spiced ginger. The O'go format is simply a new type of yarn skein that prevents tangling, this one is a striping yarn, so you are getting 5 colours per skein. You can cut all the skeins apart, so that you can use each colour for a colour block affect.

Thank you for the clarification. On the Caron website it said "Everything you need to make your new project is included in this kit!", so I did not investigate further, not only because I dislike the color combo but also because I am not particularly fond of knitting with acrylics. Usually I work with natural yarns and select color combinations according to my taste and wardrobe. -)

The materials list rather clearly states that you need Caron Big Donut OGo, in the quantities listed for each size. all available colours can be found near the bottom of the page here-https//www.yarnspirations.com/082021-blog-ogo == -introducing-caron-big-donut.html
