This idea is great! Our family has a printing shop, where a project or two can go wrong and we are left with a pile of wrong printed TShirts. Now we use them for cleaning the shop, the machines etc. and eventually throw them away or in the best case sponsor them to kindergartens or other people if they can be overprinted. But if I make the bag bigger, wouldnt it be to heavy to carry around? A pile of TShirts is not light, to be honest

Google how to make t shirt yarn. There is a ton of info out there about tshirt redos

Need directions on how to make the "yarn." I'm only presuming that you cut side to side--do you spiral slowly up? Do you but it 1", 2". Do you leave in the side seams? How do you join strips?

Doesn't say how wide to cut t-shirt strips you knit with.
