This is a great little vest pattern with easy-on button shoulders. Looking at I am wondering if you could even make the stockinette stitch section longer and turn it into a tunic or jumper. Also, you could make it striped or in several sections of different colors rather than a solid color.

This is the cutest vest and it can be done in different colors. The pattern is very detailed and it can be broken down so you can add another color at a certain place. It should work up quickly. So many of my son's friends are having children. The more different patterns I see the better. I know one little boy would look so handsome in this vest. Thank you.
