"Looks like a nice project, however the patterns from this website that are featured are frequently missing so much essential information, that some of them are useless. The website for the yarn has to be translated and the translation to english is not great, so proves to be more than a little frustrating."
"There is no "book" you must click on the link to see the pattern on the page it links to. After you get to the page, you need to scroll down about 1/3 of the page to find the written pattern there. Hope this helps, happy knitting."
"Sorry, I don't know of a video for that stitch pattern. I did make this project about 10 or so years ago and I remember that it did not really look like the picture until it was completed, while it was on the needles it looked like it wasn't lining up. Is it possible that is what is happening with you?"
"Hi, I can't find the knitting pattern for this book, can I have it please?"

Earlier comments are from 2012. I'm so glad this is being offered again, in 2013. I am awe-struck with this design. This is going to be a "must make another" item!! My first one went to the woman who runs the food pantry at my church. She gives so much, and asks for nothing in return; and yet, she keeps her needs silent.

I am a keen knitter and I love this shawl. I shall be knitting for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. Thank you MariaZarb.

Hi, I am thinking about making this but am not sure if I'm getting in over my head. It is listed as intermediate but can someone give me an idea on a scale of 1 (easy) - 10 (hard) how hard this was to make? I have not knitted very much but years ago did a long sleeve sweater with some type of cable design that turned out well. Thanks for your input.

From the designer: Please note the name of this shawl is actually the "Demalangeni Shawl" which you can find simply by doing an internet search if you should have any issues.

If you click on the above green "click her for knitting pattern. The Crescent Shawl pattern will come up as the first free pattern called Demalangeni. Then right below the picture you click on "Download" and then once you download you can bring up the PDF FORM to print the pattern free. I had no problem. Hope this helps you. Good Luck this is a beautiful pattern!

Are you using Windows/IE? Just click on the green "click here for knitting pattern." When the pattern opens in another tab, click on Download Now. If you are using Windows, you will be asked "open" or "save" and if save, where you want to save it. Or, you could just print it out. Hope this helps.

The "download now" is right under the picture of the shawl.
