Kids and adults alike can get behind these Insanely Adorable Kitten Mittens. Whether the cold weather just refuses to let up, or you're going on an exciting ski trip, these knit mittens are going to be the cutest out there. This sweet knit mittens pattern even gives one of the two ears a little blue tip for a precious little detail, and the fair isle pattern in the same color just completes the accessories. Try knitting some for your children or grandchildren, and changing it to their favorite colors, for a thoughtful (and cozy!) gift.

This may be the cutest pattern I have ever seen. I'm sitting here awwing under my breath.

I would agree with 3cats2love below. I have done some Fair Isle knitting and am not particularly fond of it. I have even done a pair of mittens and it takes a good deal of care to knit in the round and deal with two colors. That being said I LOVE this pattern. My daughter is cat nuts and she will get a pair of these in her Christmas stocking!

This is a cute pattern, but I wanted to point out to people reading that it is not an "easy" or beginner type project. You need to know how to work with 2 colors in Fair Isle knitting following a chart, and how to increase. I would consider this more of an Intermediate skill pattern.

Thank you for your comment, 3cats2love. We have adjusted the skill level of this pattern. -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

These little kittens are too cute! I love how it looks like they're waving at you - a bit of cheer on dreary winter days.
