This is a great pattern and it is simple to do. It is great as a scrap buster as well. I have a lot of chunky yarn that will be great with this pattern. It is comfortable way to put your feet up. And it is something to sit on when you have to do something floor level. Thank you for the pattern.

This is a great pattern. There are so many uses for these! I keep one in the living room to prop my feet on. I have another one beside the couch that I use for magazines, remotes, etc. My two boys have one in each of their rooms. They sit on them to play video games. These are definitely multi-purpose. This pattern is a keeper!

Great pattern, thank you! I bought a pouffe to use as a foot rest. Its a very nice pouffe but it is too high for comfort so I dont use it. By knitting this cover I can actually make my own pouffe, to whatever size and height I like and thereby solve the problem. Oh and now my son has strolled by, saw the pic of the pouffe on my screen and oh Mom, that is so COOL. I think that means he wants one (or more than one) for his room.

This is one of those patterns that I NEED. Okay, want. but still... I have put off making it long enough. I have enough old tshirts to stuff it, I think, but might it go flat after awhile with just those? I wasn't going to buy any more yarn for awhile, but I have to make just one exception!

I think it looks wonderful! Would love to make it but can't seem to open the pattern?

Hello! Once you click the pink "Click here for knitting pattern" button, you will be sent to the blogger's page where you will find the full pattern. Hope this helps! -Kathryn, Editor of AllFreeKnitting

This look awesome, in order to achieve the ball shape, just wondering what is in/inside the ottoman... Thank you.

The pattern states that she used a king size bed comforter to stuff it-I', currently making 5 of these, one for each grandson for christmas and i'm using fibre fill and it is working out great. hope this helps.

I had a leather one from Morocco and I stuffed it with used jeans, don't use fiber fill, not firm enough, meant to be able to sit on

They are not meant to be sat on but they still can be with fiberfill, I've been making them this way for years now.
