The needle length is way to long. Definitely not a 40 inch! What length please. Maybe 20inches.

I like the looks of this beanie but was disappointed that it is only written for a small size. I am sure I could figure out how to increase the size but it probably will take some trial and error. Has anyone else made this? If so, would you recommend trying to make it bigger?
