This is going to make my grand dons even cuter than they are, if that's possible. My grand daughter has a thing for owls and wil make that hoot hoot sound at her twin baby brothers. I said, give a hoot, don't pollute and she asked what that meant. I told her and now she says that too!

This is a super cute baby hat! The entire pattern is not hard to make, either. It's just a basic beanie hat with the other pieces knitted and attached, which gives it a layered look that adds depth and texture. You could make the beanie any shade of brown, or even go with another color like blue or green.
