About Bristol Knititiative:
Bristol Knititiative is a social sustainability project with a mission to empower people who care to support their local homeless community outside of economic constraints. Give your time, not your money, and let's help the homeless keep warm! We run monthly "knit-ins" in Bristol, United Kingdom, so please have a look at the Facebook page for the latest details. We're also always keen for donations of warm knitted or crocheted items such as socks, hats, scarves and gloves, which we distribute to the homeless community on the streets of Bristol, or simple knitted squares which are sewn up into cozy blankets and donated to a local night shelter (Julian Trust) - squares should be roughly 25x25cm, but different sizes can always be accommodated. Please feel free to use up all your little scraps of yarn (or if you don't want to use them, give them to us as we don't want to see a single thing go to waste)!
