The Zipper Rib Knit Square is an easy knitting pattern named after the open teeth of zippers because the rib pattern looks just like them. This is an unusual free knitting pattern because of the unique easy knitting stitch it uses. You won’t see this stitch every day. Once you learn to knit this zipper stitch, you can use it in other projects of your own in the future to add texture to your knits. And if you're just learning how to knit, this sample swatch will help you expand your skills and learn a new stitch pattern.

This stitch is unique and easy to learn and does look like the open teeth of a zipper. Now to decide how to use it in another knitting project -- simply have to use it lol - of course it will fit into that coverlet
