This Reversible Waffle Rib Square has a really interesting texture that's not too hard to make. This free knitting pattern uses basic knit and purl stitches to create the waffle rib look, so it's a very easy knitting pattern. If you're just learning how to knit, small swatches like this are a great way to test your skills and learn to knit new stitches. In this case, you'll learn how to knit a new stitch pattern with simple skills you probably already have. Though if slip stitch knitting is new for you, this swatch will be a fun new learning experience.

I love finding new stitches to practice in this section because once I'm done with the swatches I use them as dishcloths or washcloths, or even hotplates.

There are no instructions with this pattern. Not much point

Hi Crafter 16592! The page has been updated to include a link to the pattern. There seems to be a glitch on this page preventing an image of the pattern from showing up, but we are working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience. -Editors of AllFreeKnitting
