This Reversible Waffle Rib Square has a really interesting texture that's not too hard to make. This free knitting pattern uses basic knit and purl stitches to create the waffle rib look, so it's a very easy knitting pattern. If you're just learning how to knit, small swatches like this are a great way to test your skills and learn to knit new stitches. I love finding new stitches to practice in this section because once I'm done with the swatches I use them as dishcloths or washcloths, or even hotplates.

There are no instructions with this pattern. Not much point
