After the last purl row of the hat, do you bind it off and then sew all along the seam before attaching the bow? I am almost finished and will post my results! Please see attached photo. I did bind off the hat, but can undo it if I have to. Thank you. Christine

It actually doesn't say in the pattern, but usually with this type of hat you thread a blunt needle with the yarn and run the end through the remaining stitches and pull them together to gather them, then sew the seam.
