Free knitting patterns for sweaters don't have to be challenging - some of them are great for beginners. Just like this Purl Free Knit Sweater - this cute sweater is made with knit stitches. So get your practice making knit sweaters for both summer and spring using this basic pattern that's lightweight with a notched neckline.

I was looking at the photo and thinking, "no purl? Looks like stockinette stitch to me". I was wrong, It is all knitted. The difference is you use a circular needle for the most part. Interesting instructions. I wear these sweaters in the winter. I just layer them over a turtleneck. Coordinate the colors and it looks fine. I will have to make this. Thank you.

This is a simple little T-shirt and is perfect for Spring wear. If knitting for Summer, I suggest a nice bamboo rayon or silk blend yarn to get you through the warmer months. Just make sure you knit a swatch to check your gauge. Since its knit on circular needles, it will provide a great way to learn knitting in the round.

Great pattern! The whole pattern is there when you click the green pattern link. Once you get to the Berroco page, the whole pattern is there. Click the PDF link and download the pattern, then just scroll down. It's actually 3 pages.

Pattern does not appear when you click to see it

Hi KathMK, Thanks for notifying us. We have updated the pattern link. -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

There is only one page of the pattern-how do you get the rest?

I am not able to open the pattern. A menu comes up to select adobe, or whatever to open. It does not work. Usually when I click on "click here for pattern" it just comes up. I would like to have this pattern. Do you have a way to email it to me???

If you get a message like that, it is coming from your computer and has nothing to do with the web site you are on-you probably need to update your adobe or its settings.
