The Beginner Lace Stripe Scarf is a wonderful free knitting pattern worked in stripes of garter stitch alternated with a simple lace pattern. This knit scarf is a fast, fun knit - and the perfect first project for a beginner knitter. If you want to try lace for the first time, this is also a wonderful free knit scarf pattern, because no charts are needed. This scarf would make a great last-minute handmade gift for anyone special in your life. If you want to make a longer scarf, all you need to do is buy an extra skein of yarn and just keep knitting. The bright blue color really makes this knitted scarf pop and the fringe detail gives it something special.

Knitting this pattern was a breeze! Super easy to follow and fun for a Christmas gift. I found the amount of yarn listed in the pattern was a little short for the length I wanted and I wasn't planning on blocking, so I ended up using almost 3 skeins.

What a beautiful scarf! Yet so easy to knit. It is an ideal pattern for beginners it will be a nice and quick pattern for the last minute gift. One can make it for oneself as well. I truly like the nice and bright blue colour. I think I will make it for my niece.
