A fun hat! so many hat patterns seem to be the same as all the rest, but this one makes me smile just looking at the photo, I can only imagine how the finished hat will make me feel - and as the previous poster said, being regular worsted, it will be great to use up left-over balls of yarn.. for that matter, while it is self-striping yarn, one could always use two colours of left-over yarns to create the stripes ... oh the possibilities

This is a really cute pattern! I love the texture the seed stitch gives. It's made with regular worsted weight yarn too so that means I can do some stash busting. The pattern also has two sizes, adult small and large, so it will be easier to get a good fit on the hat (they sometimes come out too small for me).
