Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Gauge1 stitches, 2 rows, 3 inches. stockinette stitch

Materials:

  • Simply Soft (170 g/6. oz;288 m/315 yds) Contrast A Bone (9703) - 1 ball; Contrast B Neon Pink (9775) - 1 ball
  • Size U.S. I (5.5 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE: 17 sts and 23 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

Measurements: Approx 12" [30.5 cm] deep x 26" [66 cm] around.

K = knit
K1below = knit into next stitch 1 row below
P = purl
pat = pattern
RS = right side
st(s) = stitch(es)

With B – 2 rows
With A – 2 rows.
With B – 6 rows
With A – 2 rows.

These 94 rows form Stripe Pat.
 
With B, cast on 107 sts.
1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: K1. * P1. K1below. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P1. K1.
These 2 rows form Shaker Rib Pat.
First 2 rows of Stripe Pat completed.

Cont in pat, keeping cont of Stripe Pat until all 94 rows of Stripe Pat will be complete. Cast off. Sew side edges.
