This blanket looks so cozy that it is making me want to curl up under it with a book and I havent even made it yet! I love the wide ribbed look it has. I image it works up really fast too. I am not a fan of working triple strand, but I just might do this anyway.

Oh my gosh, this blanket looks so dreamy and cozy! This is a must-have for Winter.

I am so going to give this pattern a try! So many firsts for me-never knitted a throw, never knitted anything with double or triple strands, never knitted anything on circular knitting needles. I am up to the challenge! I can do this! I will do this! I am inspired by this blog-she walks through each and every step of it.

Not only has it texture but it has a style all its own I want to knit it up in a soft blue colour for the sitting room - a comfy chair when reading and listening to music and a lovely quickish to knit blanket to add to the comfort and the style of the room

The texture says it all. This is a gorgeous afghan and it knits up in no time thanks to the triple stranded yarn and the ginormous needles. Its guaranteed to keep you warm even on the coldest days. The designer writes an amusing blog too, you will find it when you click on the button for the pattern. Happy Knitting

I want to make this blanket for my living room. I really love the look of chunky throws.

I think Aqua would be a beautiful color for this afghan or Aqua with orang

So true Wilma ! I think aqua would be pretty too ! I created the blanket in the tutorial above, and now you've inspired me to make one in aqua ! I'm going to make it for our adult sized treehouse. We need a new blanket in there ! Cheers! Lynne
