Instructions

CO any even number of stitches

Row 1: (RS) *P1, k1, repeat from * to end of row

Row 2: (WS) *S1wyib, bring yarn to front, s1wyif, yo, p1, repeat from * until you have one stitch left, k1

Row 3: S1wyib, bring yarn to front, * p1, s2wyif, yo, repeat from * until you have one stitch left, k1

Row 4: S1wyib, * k3tog, p1, repeat from * until you have one stitch left, k1
Note: At the end of this row, you should have the same number of stitches that you cast on.

Row 5: S1wyib, * k1, p1, repeat from * to end of row, ending with a k1

Repeat rows 2-5 (not row 1) to create the "crocodile scales" in your fabric.
