Earlier comments are from 2012. I'm so glad this is being offered again, in 2013. I am awe-struck with this design. This is going to be a "must make another" item!! My first one went to the woman who runs the food pantry at my church. She gives so much, and asks for nothing in return; and yet, she keeps her needs silent.

Hi, I am thinking about making this but am not sure if I'm getting in over my head. It is listed as intermediate but can someone give me an idea on a scale of 1 (easy) - 10 (hard) how hard this was to make? I have not knitted very much but years ago did a long sleeve sweater with some type of cable design that turned out well.Thanks for your input.

From the designer: Please note the name of this shawl is actually the "Demalangeni Shawl" which you can find simply by doing an internet search if you should have any issues.

If you click on the above green "click her for knitting pattern. The Crescent Shawl pattern will come up as the first free pattern called Demalangeni. Then right below the picture you click on "Download" and then once you download you can bring up the PDF FORM to print the pattern free. I had no problem. Hope this helps you. Are you using Windows/IE? Just click on the green "click here for knitting pattern." When the pattern opens in another tab, click on Download Now. If you are using Windows, you will be asked "open" or "save" and if save, where you want to save it. Or, you could just print it out. Hope this helps.
